Wind relieving pose
This is one of the important yoga practices to naturally clean your system. It makes sure the health of your gut is in good condition. This yoga pose is a powerful asana that can heal gastrointestinal problems. By stimulating the movement of the bowels, it can get rid of waste materials from the body. Successive, rapid, and forceful exhalation of air totally cleanses the toxins from the lungs and increases the oxygen supply in the body. Anulom Vilom
This yoga practice cleanses the nerves of a practitioner. With the right thumb, close the right nostril & breathe in through the left. Then close the right nostril with the ring finger & breathe out through the right. Breathe in again from the right nostril & breathe out from the left. This completes one round of Anulom Vilom. This practice not only improves our breathing pattern & lung capacity but also brings calmness to the mind & heartbeats in rhythm.
Shuddhikriyas or Cleansing Processes play a very important role in detoxifying and internal cleansing. These cleansing processes are six in number; hence referred to as Shatkriyas. They are Dhauti, Basti, Neti, Nauli, Tratak, and Kapalabhati. Out of these – Tratak (cleansing of eyes), Kapalabhati (cleansing of the sinus), Agnisar (a type of Dhauti for digestion), and Nauli (for cleaning stomach) can be practiced daily. However other cleansing practices can be practiced with a gap of 15-30 days.
